Blow Drying Tips!! For the straight look: Nozzels are a need to have for acheiving to smooth sleek look. Most blow dryers come with one. The nozzel concentrates the heat onto one section at a time, keeping the hair from blowing around at will. Blow drying with your hair flipped upside down adds volume, while still keeping your hair poker straight. I recomend Conair's 1875 watt drier shown to the right. General Info: Using a higher wattage hair dryer cuts down on the length of time your hair subjected to heat. Volumeizing: Again, using a nozzled hair dryer, blow dry hair with a round brush, picking up sections of hair and blowing at the roots underneath. Wavey Or Schruchy look: Using your fingers, scrunch up your wet hair while drying it. Work in some gel or styling spritz while drying. Try these Salon Selectives products below!

Make Up Tips! EYES
Plucking! Plucking your eyebrows is a great way to enhance your eyes. The first time around, yes, tweezing may hurt a little. But once you start to get into the routine of it, it doesn't hurt at all. Always remember to tweeze from underneath. This gives the brow a more natural look.
If you're tweezing for the first time, it's always good to wet down your eyebrows. It's easier to pluck the hairs when they're wet. Keep the wet cloth so that you can keep your brows damp throughout the process. Also, make sure you have a good quality pair of tweezers. Trim makes the best, in my opinion. You can find Trim products at Meijer, Target, Kmart, Walmart, or any kind of mart like that.
Shaping Your Brows: When shaping the brows, some fashion mags advise you to pluck so that the tail end of the brow doesn't go past the edge of the eye. However, there are so many fun ways to shape a brow, that it all depends on your style. Some women like the tail end long and thin. Some like a higher arch, while others like a straight lined brow. Some like them thicker, some thinner. It's all up to the style you prefer and the shape of your brows. For instance, before I began plucking my own brows, I had a very thick set. I tweezed from the bottom, and discovered that after doing that, I could make my brows arch rather nicely in the middle, and let a thin tail end go past the edge of my eye. I liked the look of it, and the tweezed shape was compatible with my natural shape.
